A Day of Unity and Hope: The Global Palestine Kite and Lantern Memorial Day - October 19th 2024

Across cities worldwide, communities came together on this special day, joining hearts and hands for the Kite and Lantern Memorial Event. From the UK to cities around the globe, people united in remembrance, solidarity, and support for Palestine and Lebanon, raising significant funds alongside MATW charity. Every kite that took to the sky symbolized resilience, hope, and the collective desire for peace. A touching moment unfolded in Tubas, a town in the West Bank, where a grandfather and his grandson joined us in spirit. Together, they flew kites high above their hometown in solidarity, sending a powerful message of unity that spanned borders and generations. This shared experience of remembrance brought people from all walks of life together, including members of the royal family who showed their support, demonstrating the broad reach of this initiative. Thanks to the incredible turnout, we successfully raised vital funds to aid those in need. This day was not only about remembering those we've lost but also about extending a helping hand to those still in need.
